INTRODUCTION
Following up from my previous robots video is my vision for robocars. Such robocars can be deployed either in mobile, stationary or dual purpose roles.
This also includes robostores, which I believe may have a profound effect on society and lifestyle in the future. Such robostores will be mostly fully automated, enabling them to run 24/7 with minimal downtime for ultra-fast battery charging or maintenance. They will mostly be for products or services that are not too heavy and do not require much space.
MOBILE
Description: Goods or Passenger Transportation. Mostly on the move.
Features: Fully automated or manned by human. Can be guided/driven by phone app or in-vehicle display panel.
STATIONARY
Description: Stationary when serving customers. For example, parked at a sideroad or carpark or residential neighborhood.
Features: Has similarities with pop-up stores. Can be found or called using a phone app.
STATIONARY OR MOBILE (DUAL PURPOSE)
Description: Either on the move or stationary when serving customers, depending on business strategy and schedule. For example, a mobile cafe can move around a neighborhood (at slow speed) in a fixed route like a public bus, so that diners can people watch from different views. It can also be parked at a sideroad or carpark or residential neighborhood according to business and consumer preferences.
