Hawa Mahal

This palace, built in 1799 from red and pink sandstone, stands five-stories tall as a pyramidal shaped monument. With its 953 small windows called Jharokhas decorated with intricate latticework similar to a honeycomb at the building's rear, this palace is now a famous tourist attraction.
