Kolmanskop

This ghost town in southern Namibia was once a wealthy mining village due to the rich diamond deposits around the area. After the decline of the diamond field in World War I, the town became abandoned but is now a popular tourist destination due to the sand-covered homes and well-preserved Edwardian architecture.
