Mauthausen Concentration Camp (Mauthausen Museum)
This ex-Nazi concentration camp on a hill above the market town of Mauthausen was the main camp within a complex web of about 100 subcamps located throughout Austria and southern Germany, and where it is believed at least 35,000 people perished.
