Tham Luang Nang Non
This "Great Cave of the Sleeping Lady" is a karstic cave system near the village of Pong Pha, in northern Thailand. The cave was brought to international prominence in July 2018 when twelve members of a junior football team and their assistant coach were trapped deep inside the cave due to heavy monsoonal flooding. A rescue effort successfully brought them out safely by 10 July, and one Thai rescue diver died in the attempt.
