Yungas Road (Death Road)

No reviews yet. Be the first!
Originally a multi-purpose road built in 1930, the Yungas road was dangerous to drive because of steep slopes, a narrow single track, lack of guardrails, rain, and fog. It has now been converted to a cycling-only track and is a popular, albeit still hazardous, tourist draw for thrill seekers and visitors from La Paz.
