Bastei

This rock formation rises 194 metres above the Elbe River in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and features a sandstone bridge called the Bastei Bridge which was built in 1851. The Bastei has been a famous tourist attraction for over 200 years and its rock formations and vistas have inspired several well-known artists.
